Hi this is Luke again. Made $100 yesterday but I was kind of doing my own thing since I didn’t understand what you were saying. How would I put 3.20 February if BOIL is around $27. If you could explain how to read what you mean and how to know where to go invest because I don’t think it was boil and I wouldn’t know where to find what you mean. If you meant to go to feb and choose the $3.20 premium like on Webull I’m not so sure that would be worth it to me risking $2500+ for that. Thank you

Luke

What are your thoughts on Aussie east coast weather for our upcoming wheat and canola plant. Very dry here at the moment, need 6-8 inches to start to fill the profile before April.

Hey Jim, I’m looking at the etf SLV. I see you are still bullish silver. Should I wait for a pullback from the 52 week highs before starting a position or get in and be patient?

Thanks in advance!

Jim- at this time march beans are up 22 cents off their low, trading around 10.6. We’ve got a crop report out jan 12th, do you think this could be a pump into the report and dump after the report? Wondering if should be shorting calls at a specific number?selling futures? i know you’re bearish south American weather- i delivered the last of my old crop beans on a basis contract and looking for a place to set futures price at, and also add a few dimes by shorting to the downside if possible, and starting to focus attention on next years crop. thank u, always appreciate your opinion

Hello Jim- i’m holding about 30% of my 2025 soybean crop unhedged and about 70% of my 2025 corn unhedged.

Wondering your thoughts on price target, timing etc to hold or make sales.

Thank You, A

“Maybe God will save me, today December contract has touched a new low at 5,560$ and March double bottom again at 5,700.  I’ve lost over $460,000 of my money in cocoa and did not listen to your advice”

Hi Mr Roemer   I always enjoy your articles.  For a time I had a broker managed account and all they used was the MRCI info with no other indicators.

It would do well for a time and then I would lose most of my money. After being stopped out the trade would go back in the seasonal direction.

Since I have been on my own I have found that SeasonAlgo works much better for me. There are thousands of trades to choose from and a lot of indicators to help me choose.

I have also added in Elliott Wave Forecast, Delta Society International, Barchart and good old fashioned Price Action.

I hear we are in a La Nina weather pattern and I hope my Cleveland Ohio area does not get too much snow. We have had mild winters the last few years and have gotten spoiled.

Keep Up The Great Work!

hope you are well as i would like to ask for situation in soy bean oil. You said “Midwest harvest pressure and poor demand for soybeans”that  you mean it will affect the same soy oil as well. What is future outlook 6 months for example for soy oil. Can La Nina affect it like other grains?  Thank you JIm and have a nice weekend.

I’m wondering if u still maintain your bullish view on Cocoa. It shows strong technically bearish trend on chart and it has been dropped for one week. Do you anticipate any trend reversal? If you are still bullish, then I am going to take long position on Cocoa. How about your advice?

hi Jim – I have been trading commodities for almost a year now… exclusively SELLING far OTM options. I became a subscriber of BestWeather after getting my ass handed to me all summer long in the grain markets!

Your newsletter is the most entertaining, educational, and profitable discovery I have made… Thank you!

one question…

Do you think that NG has topped out at 4.35 this winter season with all the “arctic pigs” fully baked in?…. Or still more upside and volatility before the end of the winter?

Message: Dear Mr. Roemer, would you think it is fundamentally supported that raw sugar futures price could catch up with coffee price this year?

Good afternoon Mr Roemer I’m a farmer in central GA trying to decide when to book my new crop corn I have a 1.10 basis over March 26 …

Sent from my iPhone…

Without La Nina, if we have a neutral summer, the odds might be that Dec. corn falls to $3.50 by later July.

I am still working on summer and spring weather forecasts for commodities, so follow me, if you are a subscriber,

as weather becomes key from May-August

All the best, Jim

Will we get back to back droughts in USA and SA this year???

When was the last time this happened ???

i have some long positions in soybeans oil and think about if there is still issue with Palm oil, which can impact to soy bean oil and go higher. On the other hand i see big crop of beans in South America, so  I don’t know what will carry more weight.

Hey Jim how are you? Just wondering what you are seeing for a weather pattern for central Alberta. Prairies in general for the upcoming growing season? We are seeding spring wheat right now. Thanks have a good week.
